Crochet Creatures
There was a time where I felt that making tiny crochet creatures, or amigurumi, was a purposeless way of burning off extra creative energy. After all, what is the point of a tiny crochet mermaid? What do you use a small, round, squishy blue whale for after it is finished? But, as Oscar Wilde so wisely pointed out, “all art is quite useless”. And since my crochet creatures are nothing if not quite useless, I can rest easy knowing I have successfully created real art. Take that, Michelangelo.
Sometimes, I work off of patterns I find online, but this is my very own design. I especially love how her smile turned out!

This is a character from the game Hollow Knight. I challenged myself to crochet them without a following a pre-made pattern, and I think I did alright!
I modelled this little kitty off of a friend's cat. I tried my best to capture his cuteness.
